Building Bridges Tear Off Card Poster
This poster encourages students to notice warning signs of a mental health problem so they can support friends in getting professional help. Distributing this poster on campus can help remove the stigma surrounding mental health issues and make resources more visible. The 17 x 20 poster is perforated with tear-off cards for students to keep in their wallets a reference in helping others get professional help. The front of the card displays the phone number of the national suicide prevention talk line. Campuses should customize these posters by providing their own “stamp” or “label” on the back of the tear off cards indicating campus and local resources before placing posters in residence halls, health centers, fraternity and sorority houses and classrooms.
